Yoga Asana Classes

Have you ever wanted to try yoga but feel uncomfortable with the idea of go to a class? Would you like more personalised instruction? Or maybe you'd just like a class with a bunch of your friends at a time that would suit all of you!
I have no doubt that you have heard of yoga and what the benefits of a yoga practice can bring - far more than just for your physical body. It can help cultivate a true connection between your mind and body. Through this connection you can even experience the sensation of feeling "blissed out" after your practice!

Isn't it funny though that a practice that espouses acceptance of yourself, wherever you may be in that particular time, has become such an intimidating world? Full of handstands, splits, $100 yoga mats and pants to match. Youtube videos can be helpful if you want to avoid classes but if you are a beginner to yoga, you can risk injuring yourself.
Yoga is literally a practice available for anyone and everyone. Yet I hear all the time that people won't try it because it's primarily a female domain or they aren't flexible enough. I've even heard people say that they don't believe it'll be a hard enough work out for them. Well I walked out of my first ever yoga class after the first 10 minutes because it was so hard! Granted the class was an intermediate one...that wasn't a mistake I made twice!

The beauty of a physical yoga practice (also called an Asana practice) is that you can make it as peaceful and relaxing or as strong as you want/need it to be. It embraces you as an individual. That is why a good teacher will often give modifications for a posture.
